Hells Canyon 2014 Wallowa Valley Adventure Jamboree

Ride Description:

I've volunteered to head up this years trip to the 8th anual  Wallowa Valley Adventure Jamboree.  Sam I hope you can still make the trip!  This promises to be an awesome event, there is typically over 100 riders from all over the northwest gatherer in Enterprise Oregon.    This event doesn't have a sponsor so no one is trying to sell you anything.  You have heard the saying goes something like this: eat, ride, eat, ride, eat, drink, enjoy campfire, sleep, repeat.

About the ride getting there

We will leave Boise area (I will figure out exactly where later) on Wednesday and ride Sam's route up indian valley, over west mountain, hook up on Hwy 55 west of McCall and ride pavement to Riggins.  After a stop for gas and espresso at Sam's favorite coffee shop, we will get on top of the ridge and ride to Whitebird and camp there in a campground.  Day 2 will go back up the hill and continue north to Clarkston, Asotin, then turn south on the other side of Hells Canyon.  Quick stop at Buckhorn lookout and then on to Enterprise.  Friday and Saturday is impromptu riding in and out of Hells Canyon.  Sunday will be a shorter trip home down Hess Rd and up Kleinschmidt and back down Indian Valley.  I'd Like to limit the ride to 8 adn if there is more I'm sure someone will lead another group.  Also some may want to go Thursday the short way so someone may lead a ride then.  sign up early so we can start making plans!!  I can be reached at 863-8028 or email touchngodan@gmail.com.
