looks like the rain stayed East on the Steens.  It should be a good ride, see you in the morning.

Hi,   I'm putting together a Steens ride for September. I'm working out the details and will add later.  I'm thinking 3 night,  going through Silver city, down into Three forks, camping near hot springs each night.  I will post fuel range needed when I get more details.....  Stay tuned in for more....

Very inportant, this ride is dependant on good weather and may be canceled at the last moment, please check this event before you head out. I will post any updates here.

I put together a route and have more details for you.

This is is going to be a 3 night event with ~650 miles, The 1st day 120, 2nd 170, 3rd 140 and 4th 210 miles. The last day will consist of mosly paved road.

Meals/Fuel: A 150 mile range should be enough. I will be calling 3 of the gas station before we leave to make sure they have fuel.  I was planning on eating out some meals where we will be getting gas. 1 breakfast, 2 lunches, and 1 dinner, 1 of the lunches may be a late breakfast in Feilds.
