Relapse 2012

Ride Description:

There's still a lot to work out (like whether I'll actually be able to do the ride or not) but I want to get it out there on the calendar. 

If you don't know about my High Ride series then you might want to ask around before you think of signing up. Last time we did the ride we had:

-A broken subframe (Katy)

-A hole in an engine case (Alan)

-A smoked clutch (Ryan)

-Blown wheel bearing (me)

-Broken shift lever (Jimmy B)

-Several major crashes

-Torn off skid plate (Thane)

-At least 5 instances of bikes and riders going "swimming"

-A creepy baby doll mascot

-Several other major problems and an amazing time with the best scenery in the state of Idaho. This ride is not for beginners and I'll probably open it to 6 people or less (others by request/invitation). I'm working hard to make it possible on a 650 class bike but we'll see what happens. It's looking like a lot of single track at the moment.

I sent a proposed itinary  to Ryan and he said:

 "H*** ****, those are super-crazy death-march-long days."

Sound like fun to anybody? If so, start thinking about bike prep and minimizing gear!
