Ride Description:
This is the second in our series of fall/winter tech days. This will be a hands-on-get-your-sag-set day so bring your bikes. We will get through as many as we can but also teach you how do-it-your self. We will have some riders here that can answer specfic questions for you. We will have something for morning snacks and some trail dogs for lunch. See you there.

All right ----it's time to start picking up tips and tricks from those of us who have changed way to many tires and tubes in the past.
the doors will open at 9:00 am we will have coffee and power bars or rings for breakfast. we should get a 9:15 to 9:30 start on the first itre and go from there. Hope to see you all there.

Ride Description:
Happy Trail Dual Sport Ride, September 18-19. Leave Rockies Diner, on OverlandRoad in Boise, at 9am on Sept 18 and head for the hills, using some of the coolestpaved and dirt roads in Idaho. Finish up at about 5pm by cruising the 9-mileAdventure Loop that winds around the 1,000 acre Big Nasty Ranch on Saturdayafternoon. $25 per person, includes 2-day Big Nasty admission, breakfast at thehill, & camping pass. Owyhee Uplands Back Country Byway or ...Mud Flat
Steelhead and I decided to tackle the Owyhee Upland Back Country Byway, forthwith referred to as the OUBCB, in order to collect three challenge sites instead of heading for the cool mountains to the North as we had previously planned. Idaho's "chief meteorologist" had predicted Boise temps of 100-102ºF but I knew the mid section of the Byway was near 6,000' and that the elevation should help moderate the long hot dry day.

Ride Description:
Here's a chance to hit 8Challenge points. They're the last 8 need so I'm going to hit them all at once. I want to be very clear ~ this will be a level 5 ride at some points, but you can bail out of those sections to keep it a level 4 ride for you (read the description for further explination). The rest of the ride will be a solid level 4 ride, due to the pace and the milage.
