Sam's 5th Ride
It's that time of year! Sam guided us on his 5th Annual Spring Poker Ride! Those that participated were treated to spectacular views of snow covered peaks, beautiful early spring wildflowers, elk herds, soaring raptors and an occasional pronghorn antelope. The trail was a level 1, the perfect season opener for those rusty from the lack of saddle time resulting from the longer than normal Idaho winter.

My First IAMC Challenge 2010 Outing (should have been simple)
On Friday, April 16th, I finally decided to get off my butt and get a membership here and to register for the Challenge as well. Friday was already beautiful and the entire weekend was predicted to be the same and Challenge 2010 was just what I needed to give me some new destinations to set out to.

Ride Description:
As announced at our recent anniversary club meeting, IAMC will be organizing a Challenge Event for 2010 with varying levels of prizes based on the number of designated sites you visit in 2010. On Saturday, April 10 IAMC will be hosting a early Spring cookout/Challenge Kick Off at Discovery Park at 1:00. Bandanas and T-Shirts (with Challenge logo) will be available for the participants at the Kick Off event. Come on out for a free meal and get started on your quest.
